Marilyn I. Schwichtenberg

In loving memory of Marilyn Irene Schwichtenberg (nee Gray), who passed away peacefully at the age of 98 years on September 20, 2025. She was born on October 10, 1926 in Schenectady, NY.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband George, of Holden, MA and also her first husband, William Bowers, of Rexford, NY.

She is survived by her three children: David W. Bowers (Lori), of Palm Coast, FL; Carol Hersh (Don) of Summerville, SC; and Amy Danckert (Paul) of Altamont, NY; as well as grandchildren, Steven Bowers, Jill Novotny, Drew Danckert, Lindsay Casino, and Kevin Danckert; and several great-grandchildren.

Marilyn was a graduate of Nott Terrace High School and then excelled at Schenectady Community College. She was an active member of several arts organizations.

She was recently a 10-year resident of Coburg Village in Rexford NY.

A private memorial service will be held at the families discretion.
