ALBANY – Marilyn "Mimi" J. Conti, 74, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Macejka) Spaas.
Mimi was a resident of Albany for 15 years. She worked for New York State Department of Taxation and Finance and retired with 35 years of dedicated service. In her free time, Mimi enjoyed playing cards, shopping and visiting with her great-nieces and nephews.
Mimi will be missed by her son, Robert Conti; significant other Harold Widrow; sister Barbara Spaas; brother John Spaas; sister-in-law Joan Spaas, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will be held on Monday at 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sts. Cyril and Method Cemetery, Schenectady.
