Maria Rosa Lo Presti

COLONIE- Maria Rosa Lo Presti, age 93, passed away on April 28, 2026 at her residence.

She was born in Patti-Messina, Sicily, Italy on December 10, 1932, the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Marrello. She was also predeceased by her husband Antonino Lo Presti, siblings: Sara Schepisi, Dominick Marrello and Josephine Di Santo.

Maria loved being a Seamstress. She enjoyed cooking, loved to travel and being with family.

She is survived by her son Frank Lo Presti (Linda Wildermuth); daughter Tina Miskewicz (Joseph); siblings: Anthony Marrello (Delores) and Tindaro Marrello (Catherine); grandchildren: Alisha Miskewicz, Joseph Miskewicz (Nina), Marissa Prignon (Corey); great grandchildren: Everly, Asher, Isla, Emerson and soon to be born baby Joey.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Tuesday May 5, 2026 from 4 to 7 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. All are invited to attend her funeral Mass at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville, NY Wednesday May 6, 2026 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
