Margaret A. Frese

SCHENECTADY – Margaret A. Frese, 71, of Schenectady, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 16, 2026.

She was born in Schenectady on February 28, 1955 a daughter of the late Lawrence D. and Phoebe R. (Tyrrell) Edmonds.

Margaret was a graduate of Linton High School Class of 1973.

She was employed for forty-six years as a Nurse with Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital in Schenectady until her retirement.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 32 years, Kenneth; her siblings, Karen (Kevin) Booth, twins Larry and Mary Edmonds, Donald (Janet) Edmonds, David (Sue) Edmonds and Heidi (John) Frese as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a memorial service to immediately follow at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret's memory may be made to the American Cancer Association or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
