Marcia Luther

Albany- Marcia Luther, 94, a life-long resident of Albany passed away peacefully on April 3, 2026.

Her faith in Jesus Christ was always a central part of her life. She carried with her the values of family, kindness, and quiet strength.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert and her sister Susan.

Marcia found joy in life’s simple and beautiful moments— walks in nature, tending her flowers, bird watching, quilting, reading and checking in with loved ones.

She is lovingly remembered by her children: Linda Luther of Albany, NY, David Luther of Monroe, WA, Glenn (Tammy) Luther of Sylvania, OH, and Debbie (Carl) Schroeder of Ghent, NY. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Kevin, Kimberly, Jacob, Hope, Noel, Paige, Drew, Anna, Noah, and Joshua, and ten great-grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy and legacy.

A memorial service will be held in June, where family and friends will gather to celebrate her life and the love she shared so freely.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or The Community Hospice.
