M. Judy Asche

VOORHEESVILLE- M. Judy Asche, age 88, passed away unexpectedly on August 9, 2026.

She was born in Albany, NY, the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Hannan. She was also predeceased by her sisters: Eileen Carter and Kathy Rossi.

She was a graduate of Milne High School in Albany, NY. She retired from Capital Communications Federal Credit Union after 20 years of service.

Judy loved gardening, feeding birds and wildlife. Some of the things she enjoyed were spending time with family and friends, as well as traveling with her grandchildren.

She was active in the Colonie Elks and the Colonie VFW Post 8692.

She is survived by her husband Robert of 69 years; children: Robert (Eileen) and LuAnn (Raymond); grandchildren: Dave, Kelly (Tom), Leo (Orchid), and Tara; and great grandchildren: Declan and Reagan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Friday, August 14, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. All are invited to attend her graveside service following at 2:30 p.m. at Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Wildlife Federation, PO Box 1583, Merrifield VA 22116-1583.
