Lynn W. Brandow went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Stephen and Norma Walley and the devoted wife of more than 39 years to the late Donald A. Brandow.
Lynn was a faithful member of Grace Fellowship Church for over 30 years, where her strong belief in God guided her life and relationships.
A beloved mother, grandmother, and woman of unwavering faith, Lynn lived a life defined by resilience, compassion, and service to others. Her presence left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Born and raised in Feura Bush, New York, Lynn grew up with her five siblings—three sisters, Lee, Laura, and Lucy, and two brothers, Larry and Lance. These early years helped shape her independence, strong work ethic, and lifelong devotion to family.
Throughout every season of life, Lynn leaned deeply into her faith. It was her foundation and source of strength, especially during her many-year battle with breast cancer, which she faced with courage, grace, and determination. Even in her most difficult moments, she continued to uplift and inspire those around her.
Lynn had a lifelong love of travel, nurtured through her career with United Airlines. Mexico held a special place in her heart, and her happiest moments were spent sitting quietly on the beach in Playa del Carmen, watching the sunrise alongside her beloved dog, Bosco. Those peaceful mornings brought her reflection, comfort, and deep joy.
Her professional life reflected remarkable versatility and determination. She began by running an auto parts business, later selling building materials and spending many years in the construction industry—Each chapter of her career showcased her adaptability, drive, and ability to succeed in demanding environments.
Ultimately, Lynn found her long-term professional home with United Airlines, where she worked her way through the ranks to become a General Manager, Auditor and Trainer. She took great pride in her career, the teams she led, and the example she set through integrity, leadership, and excellence.
Above all else, Lynn cherished her family. She was the loving mother of Zachary (Francesca) Brandow and Whitney (Matthew Ward) Lopez, and a devoted stepmother to Casey (Marc) Brandow-Baez and Chad Brandow. She was a proud and adoring grandmother to Kayden, Eva, Giovanni, and Giuliano, and step-grandmother to Adriana, Noah, and Chad Jr. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy and brought her immeasurable happiness.
Lynn shared a long and deeply meaningful marriage with her beloved husband, Donald A. Brandow, marked by strong personalities, enduring love, and a bond that carried them through both joyful and challenging seasons.
Lynn leaves behind a legacy of faith, strength, leadership, and love that will continue to live on through her family and all those whose lives she touched.
