COLONIE- Lucy P. Bremm, 94, passed away peacefully at her home on December 3, 2025.
She was born in Albany on December 12, 1930, to Thomas and Mary Paolucci.
Lucy started work with New York Telephone, where she made many friends right after high school, retiring as a manager in 1989.
She became the first woman president of The Italian Community Center in the '90's. She and her husband enjoyed traveling with friends in their golden years.
Mom's favorite things were shopping, going out to eat, having cocktails, and family gatherings.
Her cherished times were with her 7 grandchildren and their partners, then her 8 great-grandchildren.
Lucy was the devoted mother of Deborah Bremm (Rick), Diana Bremm (Mike) and Johanna Bremm (Mike Palmer, deceased). She is also survived by her siblings: Albert (Mimi) Paolucci, Josephine Paolucci and Angela Riani; her grandchildren: Tara (Mike) Giuffre, Ryan (Lindsay) Morin, Justin (Bella) Morin, Ashley (Derek) Breslin, Jenna Boland, Brittney Boland and Amelia (Dusty) Palmer; great-grandchildren: Alexandra and Juliana Giuffre, William and Alexander Morin, Reagan Tyner and Rory Breslin, Lily and Landon Antenucci.
Lucy was predeceased by her parents, her husband, John, her brothers, Joseph (Helen) Paolucci, John Paolucci and Thomas (Barbara) Paolucci, her sister, Palma (Joseph Giuffre) and Barry Riani.
The family would like to thank her aides, Heidi, Ann and Mickey, who provided her with love, care and compassion.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hour at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road in Colonie on Tuesday, December 9th, from 4 to 5:30 p.m., with a service being held at 5:15 p.m.. Burial will be private.
