Lucy B. Thomas

Beloved wife of the late Richard R. Thomas entered into eternal life on March 15, 2015. Born October 25, 1928 in Albany to the late Patsy & Mary Bologno.
Devoted mother of Mary Lou (Robert) Acheson of North Greenbush, Kathleen (Charles) Taylor of Schenectady and Karen (John) Dybas of Rotterdam. Her cherished grandchildren Jamie (David) Freeberg, Bobby Taylor, Mandy Taylor, Michelle Dybas and Ricky Acheson. Great Grandmother of Lincoln, Logan, Roman and Hadley. Sister of Antoinette Horn of Latham and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by sisters Rose Colello, Catherine Turallo and brothers Vincent, Matthew, Joseph, Anthony and John.

Lucy enjoyed walking for miles, reading, crossword puzzles, dining out, music, but most of all found enormous joy being with her family who helped her fill the void after the loss of her husband. Being with family was one of her happiest and fulfilling moments.

Communicant of St. Ambrose Church in Latham.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY, on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, from 5:00-7:00pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Latham, on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 10:00am.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Lucy's name to Community Hospice of Albany or Rensselaer.
