Lucille R. West

Lucille R. West, 93, of Latham, NY, wife of the late William J. West, passed away on Saturday November 1, 2025.

Born November 6, 1931, in Cohoes, NY, she was the daughter of the late Napoleon and Ida Heins.

After raising her family, Lucille went on to work for New York State as a Fingerprint Processor. In retirement, Lucille and Bill enjoyed many years at their winter home in Webster, FL. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Lucille is survived by her loving children, Douglas (Norma), David (Deborah), Deborah (Rich); grandchildren, Corey, Steven, Jason, Heather, Jennifer, Ashley, Richard, and Evan, and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Lucille is predeceased by her husband Bill of 62 years; her son, Dennis, and daughter Denise. Also, her granddaughter Stacy Marie West.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 9:30 am – 10:30 am, with Funeral Service to begin at 10:30 am, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie NY 12205. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Lucille’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
