LATHAM- Louise O. Gorman passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016 after an extended illness with her loving husband by her side.
Louise was born in Chicago, IL to the late John and Bernice Rowcliff. In March 11, 1988 Louise was married to John E. Gorman. They were married for 30 years. In 1997 she retired from the Watervliet Arsenal. She was an employee to the Federal Government for over 25 years. Louise will be remembered for her love of animals. Her passion in life was her dogs. She leaves behind her loyal mutt, "Lester".
Louise is predeceased by her son, Robbie Huron, and her brothers; Jonny Rowcliff, Butch Rowcliff, and Larry Rowcliff. Louise was also predeceased by her beloved Yorkie, "Zeus".
Louise is survived by her husband, John E. Gorman, her daughter, Kim Johnson, her grandchildren; Nick Johnson, and Courtney Johnson, her siblings; Ricky Rowcliff, Mark Rowcliff, Kathy LaFleur, Shelly Vlcek, and Cheryl Rowcliff, her mother-in-law, Elizabeth Gorman, and her two great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Monday, October 17, 2016 from 4:00pm-7:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home, on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 10:00am. Burial will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie, NY.
