West Palm Beach, FL- Lisa J. Pigliavento went on to be with the Lord on February 1, 2017 with her family and friends by her side.
Lisa was an inspirational, strong, kindhearted, courageous woman who was full of life. She was a 6 year breast cancer survivor, through which she never complained and continued to live life to the fullest. Lisa loved like it was her first day and forgave like it was her last.
She was a talented writer and everyone loved her poems. Lisa volunteered for the Forgotten Soldiers and other charities. She was passionate about serving God through giving to others, especially children. Many children were fortunate to have "Auntie Lisa" in their lives.
Lisa was strong in her Christian faith and was a member of The Kiros Factory formerly Hosanna. She was an active member and supporter of her church. She loved her work at The Garden of Life as a product support specialist where she was adored by her colleagues and friends.
Lisa is survived by her parents, Lee and Sandra Pigliavento; her siblings, Susan Pigliavento, Lee (Tony NeSmith) Pigliavento, Jr., Lynn (Charles) Rickson; nephew and niece, Ryan and Ashley Rickson; her beloved Florida family and friends, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, many co-workers and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Lisa's life will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 8pm at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, Colonie Chapel, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. Friends and family are invited to visit from 6-8pm prior to the memorial service on Saturday.
