Clifton Park- Lisa Marie Fellows, 62, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2026, with her loving family by her side. Lisa was the daughter of the late William Kundert and Shirley Wahler. Lisa was the devoted wife to Michael Blick. They were lovingly together for 29 years.
Working from the ground up, Lisa started her career with Norstar Bank. She weathered mergers and buyouts throughout the years. The bank changed from Fleet, to Fleet Boston Financial, and finally Bank of America where she ended her career as a Mainframe Systems Architect. She was also an accomplished presenter who was frequently invited to speak at SHARE, where she won numerous best session awards. Within her many accomplishments, she most notably shared a byline on an official IBM RedBook for CICS Explorer. Because of her proficient talent, many of her coworkers literally called her a legend in the field.
Beyond work, Lisa was forever an artist, and really did it all. She sketched constantly, made beautiful paintings, and, more recently, even started her own business selling wire-wrapped jewelry. Her art was beloved in the family and beyond.
Lisa’s favorite time of year was the fall, and she always relished the yearly family trip to Salem, Massachusetts in October. Her joy for travel led her and her family throughout the U.S. Just recently, she discovered a love for New Orleans.
Aside from that, if those close know one thing about her, it’s that she adored dragons. This passion started early in life when she fell in love with the author Anne McCaffrey. With one of her favorite pastimes being reading, it’s no wonder she treasured the fantasy genre (along with many others). Notably, she cherished Lord of the Rings. She also loved listening to music, especially the Eagles. Most of all, she loved her family.
Lisa is survived by her lifelong love Mike Blick; her sons Kyle (Chelsea) Fellows, Connor (Milana LaBlanc) Blick; her grandchildren, Roland and Lorelai Fellows; and numerous family, friends and colleagues.
