Listen to Obituary

Our precious Super hero, Mr. Lindell Otis Davis at age 69, on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 left this life journey in a still manner at the Holyoke Medical Center, Holyoke NY and returned to the eternal essence of Divine joyful peace. His Sister, Lucille Davis and niece, Jozette Williams were at Lindell’s hospital bedside.

Lovingly called “Linny” by his Family, Lindell was born on May 25, 1956 in Albany NY and was the youngest child to the late Mr. Otis Davis and Mrs. Evelyn (Blakely) Davis. Lindell was a highly energetic child who attended public school in the City of Albany School District and thereafter attended youth education programs and adult vocational training programs. Lindell earned his General Education Diploma. He was a talented dedicated practitioner of Karate Martial Arts. In his early adult years, Lindell (inspired by his Father), worked as a Long Shoreman at the Port of Albany NY.

Lindell was predeceased by his Father, Mr. Otis Davis and Mother Evelyn Davis; and his only child, his Son, Isaiah Davis and his niece, Ayesha Springsteen-El; nephews: Robert Springsteen and Gary Springsteen, all of Albany, NY.

Wholeheartedly treasuring Lindell’s life is his loving Family; his Sister, Lucille Davis; nieces; Jozette Williams and Kasiah Edmunds, cousins: Bernice Pressley & Sons, Maxine Tucker and his great niece, Voshay Navedo; great nephews, Reone Nicholson, Kashan Hatches, Jamair Coleman, & great-great nephews, Satori Youngs, Omari Bell, Rylo Coleman & Kyaire & Kynslie Hatches; & Ayesha Springsteen-El’s sweet children and a host of other loving relatives.

Lindell’s unyielding faith and trust in the Divine Power of God within is his powerful eternal Source of his UNCONDITIONAL LOVE for his Family and community. By his own amazing faith, fortitude and resilience, he empowered us to believe in our power and to move through and learn from the challenges of life. Lindell’s mighty wisdom, undeniable perseverance and peaceful courage blessed everyone who came to personally know him
