Linda A. Zampella

Schenectady – Linda A. Zampella, 74, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026. Born in Schenectady, New York, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Barcomb and Helen Kohler.

Linda enjoyed spending time with her family, watching crime shows, and reading novels. She was known for her witty sense of humor, her firm but loving demeanor, and her special love for Cocker Spaniels. Linda touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Linda was predeceased by her beloved husband, David Zampella Sr.

She is survived by her children, Christa (Stephen) Sautin, Anthony (Rachael Pelletier) Zampella, and David Zampella Jr.; her cherished grandchildren, Jacob Zampella, Lukas Zampella, Emma Zampella, Isabella Sautin, Sophia Sautin, and Stephen Sautin Jr.; her siblings, Theresa Richter, Brenda (John) Higgins, and Carl (Joanne) Barcomb. Uncle Frank Kohler. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

In accordance with Linda’s wishes, services will be private.
