Linda Wright

Colonie – Linda Jean Wright, 57, passed away peacefully on August 29th, 2026. 

Born on February 2nd, 1969, the daughter of Richard Joseph Wright and Linda Jean Wright, in Cohoes, NY. She grew up in the Lansingburgh neighborhood of Troy, NY and spent most of her adult life in Watervliet, NY. 

In her youth, she was very active and played multiple sports. She loved spending time in the backyard sitting by the fire and listening to music with her friends and family. She loved going to rock concerts and always made sure you knew that Pink was her favorite artist! She also loved riding her motorcycles. Linda had a tough-girl attitude, but she also had a heart of gold and would take care of anyone in need. She worked for the Internal Revenue Service for over 25 years. 

In addition to her father Richard "Dick" Wright, Linda is predeceased by brother Richard "Ritchie" Wright. 

She is survived by her mother, Linda Wright, and her son, Brandon Wright. She loved her family dearly and would go to great lengths to do anything for them. She will be dearly missed.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday September 8th from 11am-1pm with a service at 1pm, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd, Watervliet NY. 

Interment immediately following in St. Patricks' Cemetery, 150 Troy Schenectady Rd, Watervliet.
