Linda K. Stewart

Linda K. Stewart, 84, of Glenmont, New York, passed away on June 29, 2026.

She was born in 1942, in Bronx, New York.

Linda will be remembered for her funny, loving spirit and for the joy she found in the people and simple comforts that filled her life. She loved her family and friends, cooking, tending her vegetable garden, knitting, crocheting, camping, sitting beside a campfire, and enjoying the occasional cocktail. She spent her final years at Glenmont Abbey, where she loved visiting with her many dear friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Grandeau, and son-in-law David Grandeau; her son, Bert Stewart, and daughter-in-law Kari; grandchildren Nicholas, Jennifer, Michael (Sierra), Jason (Nicole), Blake, and Lincoln; and great-grandchildren Addison and Elias.

Her home was never complete without her beloved animals nearby. She leaves behind her cherished dog, Maizy, and sweet cat, Madeline, who brought her endless joy and comfort.

She was predeceased by her son, Vincent.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY 12205, with a short service to follow.
