Linda Lowenski

Fultonville- Linda Lou Lowenski, 78, passed away Monday, January 12, 2026 at St. Mary's Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born in Gloversville, NY to the late Walter Demarest and Agnes Demarest.

Linda was a graduate of Fonda-Fultonville High School, before going on to work for the NYS Dept of Taxation and Finance for over 30 years.

She loved spending time on Cape Cod, and traveling to Disney World. She was a huge NY Yankees fan, and enjoyed attending games with her family. She also enjoyed going to the movie theater with her son. Linda was very family oriented and loved spending time with them.

In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by her beloved husband of 40 years, Henry, and her brother Donald Demarest.

Linda is survived by her son, Michael Lowenski, sisters Beverly Jennings and Louise James, as well as several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY on Tuesday January 20, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 6pm.
