Linda Knoll

Linda Jean (Hapeman) Knoll, born July 26, 1940 in Rhinebeck NY passed away on December 12, 2025.

Linda was a devoted mother and grandmother whose life was marked by kindness, creativity, and strong faith. As a born-again Christian, she allowed her faith to guide her actions and inspire the compassion she showed to everyone she met. She loved her family unconditionally and would willingly go out of her way to help others in need.

She was a trained artist and teacher who created many oil paintings and crafts and shared her love of creativity while teaching preschool and art at Pineview Preschool. Linda also found great joy in gardening, and neighbors enjoyed the beautiful flowers she lovingly tended in her front garden beds.

Linda was predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Florence Hapeman, as well as her brothers Stan and John Hapeman.

She is survived by her children, Jodi Gibeault and her husband Steven, Christopher Knoll and his wife Lotta, and Daniel Knoll and his wife Laura, and her grandchildren, Ryan Knoll ( fiancée Alexis Satalino), Justin Knoll, Isabella Gibeault, and Noah Gibeault and her sister Janette Tripp along with extended family.

Linda’s legacy lives on through her faith, her creativity, and the love she shared so freely.

A visitation will be held on Thursday December 18th from 4pm-6pm, with a service to follow at 6pm, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd Colonie.
