Linda L. Hartley

SCHENECTADY- Linda L. Hartley, 69, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 surrounded by her family. Born February 7, 1947 in Schenectady to the late Joseph Hartley, Sr. and Alice (Milliman) Hartley.
She attended Schenectady Schools. Linda drove buses for BGL for several years, bartended at Mary Barries Tavern, and she worked for Campbell Plastics in Schenectady, retiring after 25 years. Linda loved and adored her dogs, Boots and Maggie. She enjoyed online games, puzzles, and TV gameshows.
In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph Hartley, Jr. and Donald Hartley and a daughter-in-law, Cindy Hartley.
She is survived by her beloved children, Mark E. Hartley, Arden (Heather) VanNatten, and Melissa VanNatten; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; beloved niece, Jeannine Buskey; as well as many other nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 12pm-2pm on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany. A funeral service will follow at 2pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the ASPCA.
