Linda Marie Hanczaryk

Linda M. Hanczaryk 78, of Cohoes, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2025 at Samaritan Hospital after a long fought battle of cancer and COPD. Born March 28, 1947 in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Edward Demers and Rita Lacuyer Demers. She is preceeded by her husband, Peter Hanczaryk.

Linda enjoyed vacations with her son, playing bingo and going on her bus trips to the casinos.

She is survived by her three children, Michele (Pat) Connors, Christine (Jason) Belanger and Peter Hanczaryk. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amanda (Andrew) Connors, Megan (Kasey) Nieckarz, Matthew (Alexandra) Connors, Emily (Josh) Sanzo, Jason (Sam) Belanger, Noah Belanger and Mackenzie Lindsay. She is survived by her sister, Shiela Sunkes.

She is preceded by her sisters, Joyce and Diane and brothers, Jim and Marty. She is also preceeded by her brother-in-laws, Michael and Anthony (Cheryl) Hanczaryk and Yvonne (Whitey) LaPoint.

Funeral Services will be private at the request of our Mom.
