Leonard P. Blond, Sr.

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Leonard P. Blond Sr., 91, of Clifton Park, announce his peaceful passing on November 28, 2025.

Born on May 10, 1934, Leonard was the son to the late Mary Barbera and Anthony Blond. 

Leonard was a skilled car body repairman for Schenectady Plymouth, and later was employed with All-State Insurance Co. as a senior property adjuster. Leonard was a jack of all trades who was willing to tackle almost any project. His passions included spending summers with his family boating on Sacandaga Lake. He was also an avid hunter who enjoyed spending time in the woods with his three sons.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Helen; his children, Leonard Blond Jr. (Susan), Cheryl Granato (Frank), Gary Blond (Sandy), and Alan Blond (Sue). He was the proud grandfather of twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. 

Services will be private as per request of the family.
