Framingham, MA - Leah R. Crounse, 77, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham, MA after an extended illness. She was born in Albany to the late Jacob and Helen (Dane) Crounse.
After graduating from Albany High School in 1957 Leah joined the Air Force. She later worked for and retired from the Raytheon Co. in Waltham, MA. Leah enjoyed puzzles and had a passion for painting and drawing.
Leah is survived by her brother, Jacob Crounse, several nieces and nephews, and many cousins, especially her caretaker, Fred R. Beaulieu. As well as two close friend Luz Martinez and Evelyn Baker.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 8, 2016 from 4-6pm at New Comer Funeral Home, Colonie. A graveside service will take place on Monday, 10am, at Fairview Cemetery, Altamont.
