Kurt P. Dano
August 17, 1930 — February 2, 2017
Albany - Kurt Potter Dano, 86, formerly of Watertown, passed away at St Peter's Hospice Inn on February 2, 2017 with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Clayton, NY on August 17, 1930 and was the son of Melzer & Oleta Potter Dano. He was the devoted husband of Angela Burdick Dano who passed away in 2009.
Kurt was a youth baseball coach and enjoyed camping, fishing on the St Lawrence River, bowling, casino trips, horseracing and above all spending time with his grandchildren. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his 10 children, Terry, Gary, Denise Fiddes, Diane Cavin, Jerry, Debra Graff, Larry, S. Kurt, Kerry & Barry as well as 22 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 sisters, Muriel Pond & Hazel Kinnevan.
A private memorial service will be held at Saratoga National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Community Hospice Fondation in Albany, NY.
