Kimberly A. Rush

Kimberley Rush, 72 of Schenectady, NY passed away into eternal life peacefully at home on September 27th, 2026. 

Kimberley, born in Troy, NY in 1954, grew up during the late 60s and early 70's, which shaped a lot of her passions in interests. She loved 70's rock, pop & r&b, and was known to "cut a rug" with the best of them, frequenting the local discos and making live music attendance a big part of her early life. Kimberley was a long-time employee of New York State, working for the health department as a lab technician, retiring in 2016 and making many friends whom she loved along the way.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth John Wilson, and brother John "Jack" Rush. Kimberley loved being a mom, and devoted her time to being the best mom she could be, ensuring she provided and cared for her son with love. She often stated that being a mom was her favorite thing to be, and the best part of her life. She had a great sense of humor, loved her sitcoms and was known to laugh emphatically at her son's bad puns.

There will be no wake or funeral, but internment and a Christian Burial service will be held at St. Mary's cemetery in Troy. Please use the Tibbits Ave. entrance.
