Kimberly A. Hotaling, 64, wife of the late Thomas J. Hotaling, passed away peacefully at her home on April 14, 2026 surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on February 8, 1962 in Albany, New York, she was the daughter of Donna Lee Kallner and the late Arthur Kallner, Sr.
Kim attended Albany High School and then went to work at the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles. She worked there for many years, even returning part time after her retirement in 2024. She spent her spare time crocheting, bowling, and spending time with her four children and seven grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Thomas and her father Arthur, she is predeceased by her brother Joey.
She is survived by her children Angela Galle, Jennifer (Mark) Turner, Stephen (Erika) Hotaling, and Michelle (Dominick) Ferrandino; her "adopted" son John (Amy) Sheldon; her mother, Donna Lee Kaller; her seven grandchildren, Alissa and Lily Keefe, Zachary and Owen Turner, Rylee and Lainey Hotaling, and Gabriella Ferrandino; her two brothers, Arthur (Irene) Kallner Jr. and Matthew (Kathi) Kallner; several cherished family members; and many coworkers she considered family.
