COLONIE- Kim J. Boni-Phillips, 56, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 with her family by her side.
Kim was born in Albany, NY to the late John J. Boni, Jr. and Janet J. Leto-Boni on January 24, 1961. On October 16, 1999 Kim married her best friend and love, Kevin W. Phillips. They were married until his passing in 2004. Kim will be remembered as an extremely talented and passionate hair stylist with a heart of gold. She worked for Design Studios in Guilderland for many years. Kim adored all her cats and leaves behind her Persian, Verdella Agnes. Kim will be greatly missed by all.
Kim is survived by her beloved and cherished son, Nicholas W. Hall, siblings John J. (Corina) Boni III, Lori A. (Alan Sr.) Weloth, and Janet J. Boni, her aunts and uncle, Carmela Martinese, Victoria Leto, and Neil Luther Sr., and a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205, on Monday, November 13, 2017, from 10:00am-11:00am with a service to immediately follow. Burial will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie, NY.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Kim's name to the Community Hospice of Albany, Gift Processing Center, 310 S. Manning Blvd, Albany, NY 12208.
