Kim Sharon Armstrong

It is with heavy hearts to share the passing of Kim Sharon Armstrong on 6/29/2026, at the age of 67 years old.

She was born 10/3/1958 in London England to the late Patrick and Maureen Bigwood.

Kim worked at Albany BOCES for 26 years as a teaching assistant.

She loved helping her culinary students. She loved to bake and was a wonderful artist. Her true devotion was to her family. She looked forward to her retirement and spending time with her grandson, the love of her life.

She is survived by her 3 children, Danny, Philipa, and Brooke Armstrong, her grandson Slade Stewart, and her brother Ronald Bigwood. She is also survived by Danny Partin, who was blessed to have Kim as a partner for 16 years.

Kim's loving, comforting and strong nature touched the lives of many and her memory will live on in our hearts.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Wednesday July 15, 2026 from 4 to 6 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. There will be a time to share memories at 5 p.m.
