Kevin Manning

Kevin W. Manning, PhD, of Voorheesville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, surrounded by family. Born on December 13, 1955, Kevin was the son of the late Alice L. Manning and the late Frank T. Manning, of Latham, where Kevin grew up. Kevin was a devoted father, grandfather, son, and brother. He spent his entire career doing the people’s work at the New York State Office of Mental Health. An avid reader, Kevin was always in the pursuit of his intellectual curiosity, which drove him to continually seek learning opportunities throughout his life. Kevin was a lover of all animals, including his numerous pets and the wildlife that surrounded his home in Voorheesville. Kevin is survived by his daughter Colleen, son Sean, and daughter-in-law Sarah; his grandchildren Kaida and Logan; his siblings Susan (John), Karen (Todd), and Bryan (Patty); and his nieces and nephews. In honor of Kevin’s wishes, no services will be held, and his family requests that no donations of any kind are made in his name.
