Kenneth "Ken" E. Zeh, 67, passed away on September 22, 2025. After a life well-lived, he peacefully departed this world leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication.
He was the son of the late Clint and Jane (McNay) Zeh.
Ken was a steam and pipefitter with Local 7 for 31 years, and then transitioned to a position within the state for another 6 years. His strong work ethnic and skilled craftsmanship earned him the respect of colleagues and friends throughout his career. He approached every job with the same determination and care that carried through every aspect of his life. Ken enjoyed the simple things in life; the Minnesota Vikings and New York Mets, social gatherings, food, and playing cards. Above all, Ken was a devoted family man, building a life filled with love and laughter with his wife, Mary. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, generous heart, and tough exterior.
In addition to his parents, Ken is predeceased by his three brothers; John, Mike, and Bill.
Ken was the devoted husband of 15 years to his wife, Mary (Harris) Zeh; stepson, Lenny Diaz (Stacie); grandchildren, Ava and Alex. He was a caring stepfather to Lenny, and embraced Lenny's wife, Stacie, as his own daughter. He found great joy from being a grandfather to Ava and Alex, who brought endless pride and happiness to his life. He is also survived by his two sister's, Diane (Mark) Donahue and Debbie (Mike) Lee; many nieces and nephews; his stepmother, Francis Zeh; and his brother, Mike's lifelong partner, Judy Werking.
Ken's family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to their friend, Pat O'Malley: Her support, compassion, kindness, and friendship are truly appreciated; and to St. Peter's Hospice for the exceptional care.
