Kenneth L. Kissel, Sr., 92, passed away peacefully on Friday February 16, 2024.
He was born in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania on July 25, 1931 a son of the late Jesse and Emma (Simmons) Kissel.
Kenneth was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the United States Air Force.
He was a lifetime member of the VFW and the American Legion. He served as a longtime Deacon of the West End Presbyterian Church in Albany.
Kenneth is survived by his children, Cindy L. Kissel-Ito (Michael), Kenneth L. Kissel, Jr., Beth A. Kissel (Richard), Andrew O. Kissel (Jennifer) and Sarah R. Snow. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and former spouse and friend, Joan A. Hutson.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
