Kathy Flynn

Kathy Flynn (nee Butler), 75, wife of the late Tom Flynn, passed away October 24, 2025, at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY.

Born Nov 16, 1949 in Albany, NY to the late Harrison and Mae Butler (nee Dillon). Kathy grew up in Cohoes, attended Keveny High School and graduated with an Associate’s Degree from Hudson Valley Community College. Kathy was the Administrative Assistant at CSEA Union, Century Same Day, Ellis Hospital and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Her love for her family, countless friends, music and her dogs were her passions in life.

Kathy will be lovingly remembered by her son, Chris Burnett, her grandchildren, Taj, Evynn & Bo Burnett, sister Judy Grady, Niece Colleen Sanchez, Nephew Jim Denenny, Great Nephew & Nieces, Austen Denenny, Brianna Denenny and Bella Sanchez and several cousins, including her closest, Mary Dillon. In addition to her husband, Tom, she was predeceased by her late spouse, Ernie Williams.

The Family would like to thank all of their friends for their compassion and support. Kathy will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Her kindness and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A celebration of Kathy’s life will be planned for a future date.
