Kathleen A. Robinson

Kathleen A. Robinson, 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at St. Peter's Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Gerald and Tillie Hess. Kathy was the devoted wife of over 50 years, to the late Robert Robinson, Jr.

Kathy worked in the banking industry for many years. She retired with M&T bank where she established wonderful relationships with her customers and co workers.

Kathy loved to shop, going out to eat and listening to Elvis and Dolly. She really enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially the time she spent with her granddaughter, Jenna. Kathy doted on and adored Jenna. She couldn't have been more proud of her every accomplishment, no matter how big or small.

Kathy is survived by her son, Robert L. (Samantha) Robinson III. She was the proud grandmother of, Jenna Robinson, sister of Arlene (Danny) Cole and Richard Hess. She is also survived by many close family members and friends.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY on Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at New Rural Cemetery, Rensselaer, New York where Kathy and Robert will be laid to rest.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at 3 McAuley at St. Peters Hospital for their amazing nurses and doctors, they would also like to thank Sharon Hall for all of the care and compassion given to Kathy.
