Kathleen “Kathi” A. Letko

Kathleen “Kathi” A. Letko, 76, of Slingerlands, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026. She was born in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Edward O. and Mary K. Dodson.

Kathi is survived by her loving husband, Peter Letko. She was a devoted mother to Benjamin (Tracy) Letko, Teresa (John) McIntosh, and Joshua (Sarah) Letko. She was also a proud grandmother to Sam McIntosh, Sophia McIntosh, and Bridget Letko.

She is survived by her siblings Stephen (Helen) Dodson, Peter (Dawn) Dodson, Marie (Jim) Hogan, Monica Dodson, and David (Leslie) Dodson, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will miss her greatly.

Kathi had a deep love for travel and adventure. She toured Europe with her mother and spent a memorable month in Ecuador. Over the course of her life, she lived in seven different states, visited 42 of the 50 United States, and traveled to five Canadian provinces.

Kathi was a devoted deaconess at West Sand Lake Community Church, where her faith and service touched many lives. She also had a passion for sewing and was an extraordinary quilter, creating more than 100 quilts over the years. Her quilting was a labor of love and a meaningful way for her to honor her Savior and share warmth and comfort with others.

Her kindness, creativity, and deep faith will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday March 21, 2026, at West Sand Lake Community Church 4363 NY-150, West Sand Lake, NY 12196. A Visitation 10:00am-12:00pm will be held on Monday March 23, 2026, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals 343 New Karner Road Colonie, NY 12205. Interment to follow visitation Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery 200 Schuylerville Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871.
