Listen to Obituary

Julius N. Brown, lovingly known to all as “Junie,” passed away peacefully on Friday, February 20, 2026, at the age of 70.

Born in Harlem, New York, Junie was the devoted son of Victoria Brown and the late Julius Moore. Raised with strong values and a warm spirit, Junie carried his love for family and community with him throughout his life.

Junie was the beloved husband of Patricia (Brown) Fuller, sharing a bond built on love, laughter, and unwavering support. He was a proud and devoted father to Thomas Fuller (Carla), Darnell Hodges, Deon Hodges and Jermaine Cooper, and a cherished grandfather who brought him endless joy. In addition to his mother, wife, son, and grandchildren, Junie is survived by his loving sisters, Debra Brown, Denise Brown, and Veronica Smalls, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends from all over who will miss him deeply.

Junie spent his career in the hospitality industry, where his natural warmth and charisma made him a true people person. He had a gift for making others feel welcome and valued, and his friendly presence left lasting impressions on everyone he met.

He took great pride in his appearance and was always impeccably dressed, stepping out with confidence and style. Junie also had a lifelong passion for fitness and well-being. He loved working out and remained in tip-top shape well into his late 60s, inspiring others with his discipline and dedication.

Though he carried himself with polish and strength, Junie found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. He enjoyed watching television, especially horror movies, attending cookouts, and sharing laughter with family and friends. His joyful spirit and unmistakable laugh could light up any room.
