Julie Helen Swift, 47, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at her home in Rensselaer New York.
Julie was born on March 14, 1969 and was the daughter of Dale (Whydra) Vincent and the late John B. Vincent. She was the youngest of four children.
Julie was born again on November 23, 1985 when she believed and received Jesus Christ as her personal savior and Lord (John 1:12-13).
Julie grew up in Colonie Village, graduated from Colonie Central High School and went on to graduate from Maria College with a BA in Business. Graduating with honors as Phi Theta Kappa. She worked at Hiscocks and Barclay law firm in Albany.
Julie married Joseph Swift on October 5, 1991 and they resided in Albany, NY. When they started their family in 1995 Julie became a stay at home mom. She always enjoyed home decorating and cooking and her talents truly shined.
When Julies husband founded East Gate Community Church in 1995, Julie stood at his side sharing in many duties and activities until Pastor Joe's death in 2002.
Currently Julie was employed by NYS Department of Children and Family Services.
In addition to her mother Dale, Julie leaves behind her loving children; Justine Swift of Rensselaer, NY. and Josiah Swift of Colonie, NY. She is the sister of John Vincent, Jr., of Wadsworth, OH, Janine (Lloyd) Plum of Clearwater, Fl. and Joseph Vincent of Albany, NY. Her mother-in-law Gail Swift (Mike Rekuc) of Bern, NY, her dear fiancé Carl Baestlein of Rensselaer, NY as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Julies family will always cherish the sweet memories they have and treasure the love they shared.
Funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family.
