Judith A. Rowlands

Rowlands, Judith (Judy), 70, of Albany, NY passed away peacefully on January 7, 2018 after a long illness. Judy was born in Plattsburgh on October 21, 1947, where she grew up and later moved to Albany. She later married and raised five girls.

Judy enjoyed reading books, such as V.C. Andrews, watching T.V., especially Judge Judy, and was very proud she and Judge Judy shared the same birthday. She also enjoyed spending time with her loving family, and precious dogs.

Judy is predeceased by her loving mother, Theresa A. Haber, late husband, James Rowe, and grandson, Kevin M. Somma. Judy is survived by her 5 children; Donna M. Rowe (Jeff Relyea), Lynn Coumbes (Bernie), Lorie Parish (Bruce), Tracy Rowe, and Sherry Bruinsma (Richard), and her sister, Sharon Charland (Roy). Judy also leaves behind Melissa M. Miles, Jamie L. Robinson (Tyrone), and Harry J. Miles the Third along with several other nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. Calling hours will be Monday, January 15 from 10:00 am -11:00 am, immediate family 9:00 am - 10:00 am, with a service at 11:00 am. Burial services to directly follow at Our Lady of Help of Christians Cemetery, 41 Jolley Road, Glenmont, NY 12077.

In lieu of flowers, all donations collected will be put towards the organization of your choice.
