ALBANY – Juanita Thomas, 60, entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 1, 2009 at the Kingston Hospital in Kingston, NY.
Juanita was born in Albany and was the loved daughter of the late Jessie L. and Mary (Martin) Thomas. She worked as a chemical technician for Sterling Winthrop in Rensselaer and also worked for the Albany School District in food service.
Juanita is the beloved mother of Keya Swain of Troy; loved sister of Essie Forté and Gary and Barbara Parker all of Albany and Edward Thomas of Memphis, TN and the late Sandra Thomas-Wilson; cherished grandmother of Ahun'Galique Swain-Tillman. She is also survived by several cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). There will be no calling hours.
