ALTAMONT_Joseph M. Corradi, 52, passed away unexpectedly on January 4, 2016 at St. Peter's Hospital.
He was born on July 25, 1963 to Luciano and Betty (McPherson) Corradi in Schenectady.
On February 29, 1992 he married Suzanne Grant at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Rotterdam. Joe was a master carpenter and worked in the construction industry most recently as a Site Superintendent for J. Luke Construction.
Joe was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He loved life and people. He was an active board member of the Guilderland Babe Ruth baseball program and as a past Vice President for the Guilderland Little League. He loved spending time at the lake, boating with his son. He was the "Crew Chief" for the Pep Corradi and Jeff Trombley Racing Teams. He will be dearly missed by those who had the privilege to know and love him.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Suzanne; his son, Tyler; his sister, Tina and her husband Ed Holmberg; brother, Pep (Luciano, Jr.) and his wife Christine Corradi, nieces, Mandy, Tiffany and Kristina; father and mother-in-law, several brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 4-8 pm at St. Madeline Sophie Roman Catholic Church, 3500 Carman Road, Schenectady, NY 12303.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday at 10:00am January 8, 2016 at St. Madeline Sophie Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be held at Saints Cyril and Method Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Joe's honor to the Guilderland Babe Ruth, PO Box 179, Guilderland, NY 12084.
