Joseph S. Ferrandino, 56, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026 at Albany Medical Center with his loving family by his side.

Joseph was the son of Dominick Ferrandino and Christine Austin-Bell. He was the devoted husband of over 38 years to Patricia (Burke) Ferrandino.

Joseph worked for the City of Albany for 18 years as a laborer with the Department of General Services.

Joseph enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. He loved riding his motorcycle, vacations, casino trips and brother road trips. He also enjoyed watching football and baseball, he was an avid Raiders and NY Yankees fan.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Joseph is survived by his brother David. His children Anthony (Samantha), Amber, Dominick (Michelle), Joseph Jr. (Alyssa), Austin (Kylee) and Eddie. He was the devoted grandfather of Ellianna, Jionni, Kayden, Kallee, Isabella, Lucas, Ryler, Ajani, Olivia, Novian, Vey'anna, Gabriella and Amelia.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations and funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189 on Thursday, July 23, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society Memorial Processing Center American Cancer Society, 1 Penny Lane, Latham, NY 12110, in Joe's memory.
