Albany-Joseph J. Blasen, 60, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Pathways Nursing & Rehab Center.
Born on March 15, 1958 in Albany, a son of the late Robert and Mary Hannon Blasen. A lifelong resident of the area, Joe graduated from Albany High School, class of 1976. Joe worked for 30 years at SUNY Central Administration as a computer operator.
Joe was an avid NY Yankees and NY Rangers fan.
Joe is survived by his sister, Darla Watson (David); niece, Amanda Watson and nephews, Michael Blasen and Robert Watson; sister in law, Marianne Blasen. Besides his parents, Joe was predeceased by his brother, Robert Blasen.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 10am at Calvary Cemetery, 481 Route 9W, Glenmont, 12077.
