COLONIE- Joseph Bianchine, 94, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017.
Joe was born in Colonie, NY, to the late Anthony and Pamela Bianchine on March 23, 1925. Joe was an operating Engineer of the Operating Engineers Union for many years.
Joe is predeceased by his first wife, Josephine, who passed away in 1991 and his second wife, Ruby, who passed in 2005. He is also predeceased by his sister, Marge LaGrave, his brother, Tony Bianchine, and his dog, Louie.
He is survived by his brother, Albert (Joan) Bianchine, six nieces, and one nephew.
Joe's family would like to thank his three nieces, Annette, Pam, and Susan, and his brother-in-law, Tupper, for all their care and compassion they had shown to Joe over the years.
A graveside service will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Albany, NY 12205, on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 10:00am.
Joe's family would also like to thank all of the staff at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center 2nd floor for taking such good care of Joe during the last months of his life, and they ask that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Our Lady of Mercy, 2 Mercy Care Ln, Guilderland, NY 12084.
