Joseph C. Barone,74, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Schenectady NY to the late Joseph and Ida Therrien Barone. Joe attended Mont Pleasant High School and joined the Navy right after graduation. He retired from General Electric in Schenectady, NY after 21 years. Joe had such a love for music, always in a band, performing, writing and recording music with his brother Jim and close friends.
Survivors include his loving life partner of 38 years Kimberly Clute, his children Gia Barone(Johnny), Jana Cobb (JB), Joseph (Sarita), Jonathan and Chazz. Grandchildren Donovan, Jared, Justin, Angelo, Sicilia, James, and Luca, and Great grandchild Takhari. His siblings Linda Barone Lupi Watford, Rita Colleton(Timothy), Carol Colleton, James Barone(Laurie). Also survived by many in-laws, nieces and nephews who thought the world of him.
A visitation will be held on Monday June 2nd from 1pm-3pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd Colonie NY.
