Jolly Mathai

Jolly Mathai, age 74 of Albany, New York, peacefully passed away in his home on April 23rd, 2026. He was born in Kerala, India, the eldest son of Joseph Mathai Neerolickal and Elekutty Mathai. He held a master's degree in economics and was a professor in India. He immigrated to the US in 1984 and worked at St Peter’s Hospital and for Transworld Entertainment. Jolly is survived by his wife, Mary Mathai, and his children, Elizabeth Mathai and Clinton Mathai. He was predeceased by his brother Hentry Mathai and his former wife Celine Mathai. He is survived by his seven siblings: Jessy Thomas, Dominic Mathai, Kusumam Kuriachan, Johns Mathai, Regi Kurian, Gilson Mathai, and Jismon Mathai.
