John Liburdi, Jr.

Halfmoon--- John Liburdi Jr., age 63, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 14, 2018 surrounded by his loving children.
John was born in Troy, the son of Dorothy (Bell) Liburdi and the late John Liburdi Sr. He was raised in Latham and graduated from Shaker High School.
John worked at the Town of Colonie Recreation Dept. for 30 years and was Head Groundskeeper for Heritage Park in Latham.
He loved to go hunting in Newcomb, NY and was a big fan of the New York Yankees.
John was predeceased by his sister Susan Caponera.
John is survived by his wife, Pauline Liburdi; five children: Kim(Trevor) Morrison, Shawn(Jess) Liburdi, Michelle, Jason and Casey Liburdi; two grandchildren: Chloe and Abby Morrison. He is also survived by nephews and dear friends.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
