John Courtemanche

John Courtemanche, 59, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026 at Albany Medical Center with his loving family by his side.

John was the son of Patricia (Conklin) and the late Paul Courtemanche, Sr..

He worked for E-One for many years, he also owned and operated Centerfield in Rotterdam.

John was an avid Red Sox, Buffalo Bills and NASCAR fan. He enjoyed fishing, garage sales, auctions and spending time with his family, especially playing with his nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, John is survived by his siblings, Penny (Mark) Majewski, Paul (Mary) Courtemanche, Jr., Scott Courtemanche, Laura (Brian) Baker and Kim (Marty) Spector. He was the proud uncle of several nieces, nephews, cousins and his cat Boo.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY on Monday August 10, 2026 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private.

The family would like to thank Jen and Lauren who he loved and was very thankful for.
