ALBANY- John Arthur Alesandrini "Slick", age 54, died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 8, 2021.
John was born in Albany to the late John and Dolores Alesandrini. He grew up in Albany and attended St. James Institute and Bishop Maginn High School.
John was employed by GE Engine Systems for almost thirty years. Most recently he was employed by Momentive Inc. in Waterford, NY.
John leaves behind his wife Alicia and their daughters, Samantha and Isabella; his sisters: Donna Zink, Linda (Marty) McGraw and Angie (Joe) Ennis; nieces and nephews: Matt Zink, Sean McGraw, Kayla McGraw and Joey Ennis; uncle, Thomas Alesandrini; in laws, Jack and Ginny Lynch; lifelong childhood friends: Bob Tierney, Paul Coluccio, Jay McCormack and Dave Smith. Also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
