JoAnn Foust born April 18,1939, in Englewood, New Jersey, to the late Harry Mills of Santo, Domingo and the late Sally Warrick of South Boston, VA. God called her home on December 31, 2025.
JoAnn remained in New Jersey with her father until the age of 12, while her mother moved to Brooklyn, New York, to care for her grandmother. At 12 years old, JoAnn joined her mother, the late Sally Warrick, and her late Aunt Suzie Bell in Brooklyn. It was there that she met the love of her life, her late husband, Baxter Lee Foust Jr. On December 3, 1955, at just sixteen years old, JoAnn Warrick and Baxter Lee Foust Jr. were united in marriage.

She also belonged to a club with many families in her building, where they organized bus rides, dances, card games, and other activities.
