Joann Crawford

Voorheesville- Joann Crawford, age 62, passed away suddenly on July 10, 2026.

She was born in Richmond, VA, the daughter of the late William and Rosa Crawford.

Joann was a graduate of Voorheesville High School. She was a CNA at the Teresian House for many years.

She liked to dance, loved to read, enjoyed being around her friends and family, cooking and sitting outside doing her crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed being outside in her garden.

Joann is survived by her children: Teresa Crawford and Alvin Crawford; siblings: Harris Crawford, William Crawford, and Mary Griffin; and grandchildren: Octavia Crawford and Jalana Crawford. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Friday July 24, 2026 from 4 to 6 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205.
