SCHENECTADY - Joan Carole Rozen Pino, 84, passed away on April 4, 2026. Born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Richard and Jessie (Krosnowski) Rozen. She was the granddaughter of Kostanty and Anna Rozen.

Joan is predeceased in death by her husband, Antonino Pino, and her cousin, Nancy Rozen Englert.

Joan is survived by her three stepchildren: Anthony Pino (Kimberly), Frank Pino (Darnell) and Michela Del Monico (James); and cousin Barbara Rozen Williams.

Joan graduated from Linton High School and Albany Medical Center School of Nursing (Russell Sage). She then embarked on a long career which she loved working as a surgical nurse at Ellis Hospital. She had a love of travel throughout her life which took her everywhere, including many trips to Europe, North Africa and around the U.S. At home, she was an avid reader, logging many hours volunteering at Niskayuna library.

Visitation will be on Friday, April 10, 2026 from 9:30 am to 10:00 am with a Mass of Christian Burial to immediately follow at 10:00 am at St. Anthony's Church 331 Seward Place, Schenectady. Interment will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery, 27 Glenridge Rd., Glenville NY 12302. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony's Church.
